- 1 stick margarine or butter
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 3/4 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 heaping tsp. baking powder
- 2/3 c. milk
- 1 qt. fruit (fresh or frozen) blueberries, peaches, apricots, blackberries, pears or apples
Directions

1Melt margarine/butter in 2-quart baking dish.

2Combine dry ingredients and stir into melted butter.

3Add milk and stir again. Bring fruit and sugar to boil.

4As soon as it boils, remove from heat and pour over batter.

5Don't stir.

6Bake at 400°

7for about 30 minutes.
