Ingredients: 3 eggs; 2 c. sugar; 2 sticks margarine; 1/2 c. water; 2 1/2 c. flour; 2 Tbsp. cocoa; 1 tsp. baking soda; 1 tsp. cinnamon; 1 tsp. allspice; 1 c. finely chopped walnuts; 1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate bits; 2 c. grated apples; 1 tsp. vanilla

2 c. sugar
2 sticks margarine
1/2 c. water
2 1/2 c. flour
2 Tbsp. cocoa
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. allspice
1 c. finely chopped walnuts
1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate bits
2 c. grated apples
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

Cream together until fluffy eggs, sugar, margarine and water. Sift together flour, cocoa, baking soda, cinnamon and allspice. Add to creamed mixture and mix well.

Fold in walnuts, semi-sweet chocolate bits, grated apples and vanilla; mix well.

Spoon into greased and floured 10-inch loose bottom tube pan.

Bake at 325° for 60 to 70 minutes.
