Cocoa-Coffee Glaze

  • 1/4 cups Unsalted Butter
  • 3 Tablespoons Dark Coffee
  • 1 Tablespoon Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
  • 2/3 cups Confectioners Sugar

Directions

    Makes approximately 2/3 cup.

    In a small saucepan over medium heat stir together the butter, coffee and cocoa until the butter melts and the cocoa dissolves. Remove from the heat and let cool for approximately 5 minutes.

    Add the sugar and whisk until smooth and thick approximately 1 minute.

    Use immediately. If the sauce becomes too thick to drizzle, re-warm it for a few seconds over low heat while whisking.

    Use on cookies, cakes and muffins.
