Cocoa Crunch Bars

Ingredients
- 2/3 c. butter or margarine
- 1/2 c. unsweetened cocoa
- 1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
- 1/2 c. honey or light corn syrup
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 4 c. quick cooking oats
- 1 1/2 c. coarsely chopped nuts
Directions

1Melt butter in medium saucepan; remove from heat and blend in cocoa.

2Add brown sugar, corn syrup or honey, vanilla and salt; blend well.

3Combine oats and nuts in large mixing bowl.

4Pour chocolate mixture over dry ingredients.

5Stir to blend well.

6Line a 15 1/2 x 10 1/2-inch jelly roll pan with aluminum foil. Generously grease foil.

7Press mixture into pan.

8Bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes.

9Cool; peel off foil.

10Cut into bars.

11Store in tightly covered container.

12Makes about 3 dozen bars.
