- 1 c. Hershey's cocoa
- 1/2 c. sweet butter, softened
- 2 tsp. peppermint extract
- 1/2 c. water
- 9 c. sifted confectioners sugar (2 lb.)
Directions

1Combine all ingredients in a large mixing bowl.

2Mix with hands until well blended.

3Add more water, 1/4 teaspoon at a time, if needed to hold mixture together.

4Shape mixture into a ball; place on a sheet of wax paper and roll out to 1/4-inch thickness.

5Cut into desired shapes with cookie cutters; chill several hours. Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place.

6Makes 2 3/4 pounds mints.
