- 1/2 c. butter
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 c. flour
- 2 eggs
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 c. nut meats
- 1 c. shredded coconut
Directions

1Have butter at room temperature; chop nuts and grease 8 x 12-inch baking pan.

2Mix first 3 ingredients until well blended. Press into pan and bake for 20 minutes.

3Do not brown.

4Mix remaining ingredients except coconut and spread over batter in pan.

5Sprinkle top with coconut and bake at 325° for about 25 minutes or until brown.

6Cut into squares while still warm.
