  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 1 c. flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. chopped walnuts
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 c. coconut
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1/4 tsp. salt

Directions

    Mix the butter, sugar and the cup of flour to a crumbly consistency and pack into an ungreased 8 x 13-inch dish.

    Bake at 350° for 15 to 20 minutes.

    Then take out of oven and cover with the following mixture.

    Combine the remaining ingredients and pour over crust and bake at 350° for about 25 minutes.

    Cool and cut in bars.
