- 2 c. self-rising flour
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 c. flaked coconut
- 1 c. cooking oil
- 1/2 c. milk
- 5 eggs, beaten
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. water
- 1/2 c. margarine
- 1 tsp. coconut flavoring
Directions

1Beat sugar and oil together.

2Add eggs; mix well.

3Add milk and flour; stir until mixed, then add coconut.

4Grease and flour a 9 x 13-inch pan.

5Pour in cake batter; bake for 45 minutes at 350°.

6When cake is done, leave in pan.

7Mix the last 4 ingredients; boil for 1 minute.

8As soon as cake is removed from oven, punch holes all over top with a fork and pour this boiling mixture over it.
