- 2 c. self-rising flour
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 1 c. milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 4 egg whites
Directions

1Heat oven to 350°.

2Grease and flour pans.

3Put sugar, shortening, egg whites, vanilla and milk into a large mixing bowl. Blend 1/2 minute on low speed, scraping bowl occasionally.

4Pour into prepared pans and bake at 350° until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean or about 25 minutes.

5Cool and frost with Seven Minute Icing and coconut.
