- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 3/4 c. water
- 1 c. dark corn syrup
- 1 tsp. salt
- 4 1/2 c. shredded coconut
Directions

1Combine all ingredients except coconut in a saucepan and stir until sugar is dissolved.

2Cook to 245° on a candy thermometer or firm ball stage.

3Remove from heat and add coconut.

4Mix well. Drop by spoonfuls on buttered cookie sheet.

5Shape into peaked mounds.

6Sweet and chewy.
