- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 3 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 2 c. milk
- 3 egg yolks
- 1 Tbsp. margarine
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 3/4 c. coconut
Directions

1Stir together sugar, cornstarch and salt in saucepan.

2Blend milk and egg yolks.

3Gradually stir into sugar mixture.

4Thicken and boil for 1 minute.

5Remove from heat, blend in butter and vanilla.

6Immediately pour into baked pie shell.

7Top with meringue.
