  • 4 egg whites
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans)
  • 1/2 c. coconut
  • 22 crushed vanilla wafers
  • 1 or 2 bananas
  • Cool Whip topping

Directions

    Beat egg whites until stiff.

    Add sugar; beat until stiff (until peaks form).

    Mix in nuts, coconut and wafer crumbs; mix well.

    Pour into well-greased pie pan.

    Bake at 325° for 30 minutes.

    When cool, top with sliced bananas.

    Cover with Cool Whip; garnish with nuts.
