- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 onion small, chopped
- 1 garlic clove minced
- 1/2 green chili seeded and shredded
- 1 teaspoon curry powder
- 7/8 pound prawns or shrimp
- 1 11/16 cups coconut milk
- 3 limes juice
- 1 tablespoon grated coconut
- salt to taste
- ground black pepper to taste
- 1 sprig coriander chopped
Directions

1In a large pot, heat the oil.

2Add onion and minced garlic, saute for a few minutes.

3Add chili and curry powder, continue cooking for a few minutes over low heat.

4Add the prawns or shrimp, cover with coconut milk.

5Cook for about 10 minutes.

6Add lime juice and coconut, stirring constantly.

7Season with salt and pepper, remove from heat.

8To serve, sprinkle with chopped coriander. Accompany with basmati rice.
