- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
- 2 2/3 c. scalding hot milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. fancy flake coconut
Directions

1Make pastry for 1 crust pie.

2Line 9-inch pie pan.

3Build up high and fluted edge.

4Beat eggs slightly, then beat in remaining ingredients.

5Pour into pie crust.

6Bake just until knife inserted 1 inch from side of filling comes out clean at 425° (25 to 30 minutes).

7Too long baking makes custard watery.
