- 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 3 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 cup shredded coconut
- 1/4 cup sugar
Directions

1Over medium-low heat, melt sugar until it caramelizes.

2Pour the caramel into a flan dish to coat bottom.

3Beat eggs until foamy.

4Add sweetened condensed milk, then milk, and finally the coconut and vanilla.

5Mix well with each addition.

6Pour mixture into flan dish.

7Place flan dish into an oven-proof dish, and add water (enough to come up to the top 1/3 of the flan dish).

8Bake at 325°F for approximately 1 hour, or until a knife inserted in center comes out clean.

9Allow to cool, and refrigerate.

10Serve cold with fresh whipped cream.

11May be refrigerated up to 3 days.
