- 6 eggs
- 1 c. vegetable shortening
- 1/2 c. margarine
- 3 c. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. almond flavoring
- 1/2 tsp. coconut flavoring
- 3 c. sifted flour
- 1 c. milk
- 2 2/3 c. coconut
Directions

1Put egg whites in large bowl and beat at high speed until soft peaks.

2Set aside.

3Combine egg yolks, shortening and margarine until well blended.

4Gradually beat in sugar and salt.

5Add flavoring and beat in flour and milk.

6Add coconut and fold in egg whites.

7Bake 2 hours at 300°.

8Cool in pan for 15 minutes.
