  • 1 can coconut flakes
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1/4 c. buttermilk
  • 3/4 stick butter or margarine

Directions

    Beat eggs slightly.

    Add sugar, melted butter, buttermilk and vanilla; mix well and stir in coconut flakes.

    Pour into unbaked pie shell; bake at 375° for 10 minutes.

    Lower heat to 300° and bake until golden brown.
