- 2 sticks butter or margarine
- 1/2 c. Crisco
- 3 c. sugar
- 3 c. flour
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 3 oz. coconut
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 tsp. almond
- 1 c. milk
- 6 eggs
Directions

1Cream sugar, Crisco and butter on low until smooth.

2Add eggs, one at a time.

3Beat well.

4Sift flour, salt and baking powder. Add to batter at 1/2 cup at a time.

5Alternate with milk.

6Add flavoring and coconut.

7Pour into a greased and floured tube pan. Bake at 315° for 1 hour and 30 minutes.

8Moist and delicious.
