- 2 sticks butter or margarine
- 3 c. sugar
- 5 eggs
- 3 c. flour
- 1 c. milk
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- flavoring (either use 1 1/2 Tbsp. coconut flavoring or 1 tsp. lemon, 1 tsp. butter flavoring and 1 tsp. coconut flavoring)
Directions

1Cream together butter or margarine and sugar; add eggs.

2Mix well.

3Add 1 cup flour and 1/2 cup milk.

4Put baking powder in remaining 1/2 cup milk.

5Let bubble and settle, then add flavoring.

6Add remaining 2 cups flour and milk with baking powder and flavoring.

7Bake at 350° for 1 1/2 hours in greased and floured tube pan.

8Do not open door during cooking.
