- 1 c. Crisco
- 1/2 c. margarine
- 3 c. sugar
- 1 c. milk
- 3 c. flour
- 2 c. coconut
Directions

1Separate eggs; let egg whites warm to room temperature.

2Beat yolks with shortening until well blended.

3Gradually add sugar and beat until light and fluffy.

4Add vanilla.

5Add on low speed and beat in flour alternately with milk.

6Add coconut and blend well. Beat egg whites until stiff and fold in.

7Bake in greased and floured 10-inch tube pan at 300° for 1 1/2 hours.
