  • 1 c. pure butter
  • 3/4 c. Crisco
  • 3 c. sugar
  • 5 eggs
  • 3 c. plain flour
  • 1 c. sweet milk
  • 2 Tbsp. coconut flavoring
  • 1 can coconut
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt

Directions

    Cream butter, Crisco and sugar.

    Add eggs one at a time.

    Add flour and milk (small amounts).

    Beat well after each addition. Add flavoring and coconut.

    Pour into a tube pan and bake at 300° for 1 1/2 hours.
