- 1 pkg. yeast
- 1/2 c. warm water
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 1 can evaporated milk
- 2 tsp. salt
- 4 to 4 1/2 c. flour
Directions

1Dissolve yeast in warm water and 1 tablespoon sugar.

2Let stand 15 minutes.

3Then add 2 tablespoons sugar, oil, evaporated milk and salt.

4Add flour 1 cup at a time.

5Beat thoroughly.

6Last cup will have to be beaten by hand.

7Put into well-greased 1-pound coffee cans.

8Place lids on.

9Let rise until lids pop.

10Then bake in oven at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes or until done.

11Then let stand 5 to 10 minutes and remove from cans.
