Coffee Can Cake

Ingredients

  • 6 ripe bananas
  • 2 sticks margarine (melted)
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 4 c. flour
  • 2 tsp. baking soda
  • pinch of salt
  • 1/2 c. or more chocolate chips
  • 1/2 or more nuts
  • 10 oz. jar of maraschino cherries (drained)

Directions

    I use a potato masher to mash bananas until liquid

    and use it to continue stirring in all ingredients.

    Preheat oven to 350°. Butter and flour 4-1 lb. coffee (metal) cans.

    Pour equally into the 4 cans.

    Bake approximately 1 hour or until brown and done on top.
