- 1 cup strong coffee
- 1/3 cup grated chocolate
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tbsp. sugar
- 4 tbsp. sugar
- 2 eggs
- 3 egg yolks
- 1/8 tsp. salt
Directions

1Combine and scald all ingredients except eggs.

2Pour them slowly over the beaten eggs or egg yolks.

3Beat until well blended.

4To bake the custard, pour into a baking dish or individual molds.

5Place them in a pan of hot water in a moderate oven and 325F for 45 minutes or until custard is set.

6To test, insert a knife or spoon.

7If custard doesn't stick, it is ready.

8Serve chilled with whipped cream.
