Ingredients
- 1 pkg. yeast
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 2/3 c. warm water
- 3 1/2 c. flour
- 1/2 c. Mazola oil
- 3 eggs
- pinch of salt
- oleo to spread
- brown or granulated sugar
- cinnamon
- raisins and nuts (optional)
Directions

1Dissolve yeast and sugar in warm water; add 1 cup flour and beat until smooth.

2Add oil and eggs and remaining flour and salt. Beat until smooth.

3Place in greased bowl and let rise until double in bulk.

4Punch down and roll on lightly floured board into approximately a 9 x 18-inch oblong.

5Spread oleo on the dough sparingly; sprinkle sugar, cinnamon and nuts and raisins, if desired.

6Roll up and shape into a circle on a greased cookie sheet.

7Cut at 2-inch intervals almost through dough.

8Let rise until double.

9Bake at 350° for 18 to 20 minutes.

10Cool and spread with icing.
