- 2 sticks butter
- 1/4 c. Crisco
- 3 c. plain flour
- 3 c. sugar
- pinch of salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
- 1 tsp. lemon flavoring
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 c. milk
- 5 eggs
Directions

1Cream butter and Crisco well.

2Add other ingredients; add milk last!

3Add eggs, one at a time.

4Beat well after each egg.

5Blend well after milk, pouring mixture into floured tube pan.

6Bake in cold oven for 1 hour and 15 minutes at 325°.

7Cool about 10 minutes, then wrap in foil.
