- 3 or 4 lb. collards, cut up
- 1 c. water
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 4 Tbsp. oil
- salt to taste
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
Directions

1Pick, clean, wash and cut up greens.

2In skillet, put oil and saute onion and garlic.

3Put greens in pot on top of sauteed onions and garlic with 1 cup of water.

4Cook at moderate heat and add salt to taste.

5Cook until done.

6Do not burn.

7If needs more water, add just enough to keep from burning.

8Same can be done with mustard and turnip greens.
