- 2 1/2 lb. carrots
- boiling salted water
- 1/2 c. mayonnaise
- 1/4 c. cooking liquid from carrots
- 1 Tbsp. minced onion or instant minced onion
- 2 Tbsp. Kraft horseradish sauce
- 1/4 c. fine cracker crumbs
- 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- salt and pepper
- paprika
- chopped parsley
Directions

1Cook the whole carrots in boiling, salted water until tender. Reserve 1/4 cup of the cooking liquid.

2Drain carrots; cut lengthwise into narrow strips and arrange in shallow baking dish (8 or 9-inch square).

3Combine reserved cooking liquid with mayonnaise, onion, horseradish sauce and salt and pepper.

4If desired, at this point, the carrots and sauce may be refrigerated.
