Ingredients

  • 2 pkg. lemon jello
  • 1 (No. 2) can crushed pineapple, drained
  • 3 bananas, cubed
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • grated sharp Cheddar cheese
  • 3 c. boiling water
  • 1 1/2 c. mini marshmallows
  • 1 c. pineapple juice
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1/2 pt. whipping cream

Directions

    Dissolve jello in boiling water.

    Cool and add pineapple, bananas and marshmallows.

    Chill in large Pyrex dish until firm. Heat pineapple juice in top of double boiler.

    Add flour and sugar to beaten egg.

    Mix with juice and cook until thick, stirring constantly.

    Cool and fold in whipping cream.

    Spread over jello. Sprinkle with grated cheese generously.

    Cut in squares and serve.
