  • 2/3 c. margarine
  • 2 c. brown sugar (1 box)
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 3/4 c. flour
  • 2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
  • 1 c. English walnuts, broken
  • 1 c. coconut (canned)

Directions

    Melt margarine, then add brown sugar and mix.

    Let it cool. Add eggs and blend well.

    Add flour, baking powder and salt.

    Add nuts, chips and coconut.

    Spread in greased pan and bake for 30 minutes at 325°.

    Take out when light brown and cut, when cool, into squares.
