- 2 3/4 c. flour
- 2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2/3 c. melted margarine or butter
- 2 1/2 c. brown sugar (1 lb.)
- 3 eggs
- 1 c. broken (not chopped) walnuts
- 6 to 10 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Mix flour, baking powder and salt; set aside.

2Melt margarine and add brown sugar in large mixing bowl.

3Stir until well mixed. Allow to slightly cool.

4Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition.

5Add half of ingredients; mix.

6Add remaining dry ingredients.

7Mix. Add nuts, chocolate chips and vanilla.

8Spread into greased 10 x 15-inch pan.

9Bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes.
