- 2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 sticks margarine
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 lb. brown sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 c. chopped nuts
- 1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
Directions

1Melt margarine in a large saucepan.

2Cool.

3Add eggs, 1 at a time.

4Beat well by hand.

5Cream in sugar.

6Add dry ingredients, then chips and nuts.

7Add vanilla.

8Mix thoroughly.

9Bake in a greased and floured 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.

10Bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes.
