- 1 box brown sugar
- 2 1/2 c. self-rising flour
- 3 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 (6 oz.) butterscotch or chocolate chips

1Melt margarine.

2Stir in sugar.

4Add eggs, one at a time.

5Beat thoroughly (hand beat).

6Stir in flour.

7Add vanilla and stir in chips and nuts.

8Pour in greased oblong pan.

9Bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes.
