  • 1 lb. brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 stick margarine, melted
  • 3 large eggs
  • nuts
  • 2 3/4 c. self-rising flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 6 oz. chocolate chips

Directions

    Sift brown sugar, flour, baking powder and salt all together. Melt margarine.

    Beat in eggs, one at a time.

    Add the flour mixture.

    Beat until smooth.

    Stir in chocolate chips and nuts. Bake at 325° until toothpick comes out clean.
