  • 1 box light brown sugar
  • 1 1/8 sticks butter
  • 2 3/4 c. self-rising flour
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. nuts or coconut
  • 1 c. chocolate chips (optional)

Directions

    Melt butter; pour over sugar.

    Add eggs, flour, nuts and vanilla.

    Bake in a shallow dish or pan for 30 to 35 minutes at 325°.
