  • 1 lb. round steak, cubed
  • 2 large potatoes, sliced 1/2-inch
  • 2 large onions, sliced
  • 1 c. cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 1 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1 c. grated cheese

Directions

    Brown onions in 2 tablespoons of oil; add meat. Simmer covered for 50 minutes. Pour into 13 x 9 baking dish. Place potatoes over meat. Blend soup, cream, milk, salt and pepper together. Pour over top of meat and onions. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake uncovered for 1 1/2 hours at 350°.
