Ingredients

  • 2 whole boneless chicken breasts, halved
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 slices Swiss cheese
  • 4 slices cooked ham, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 c. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. paprika
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 2 tsp. milk
  • 1/2 to 3/4 c. breadcrumbs
  • 3 tsp. margarine
  • 1/2 to 3/4 c. chicken broth
  • 2 tsp. dried parsley flakes
  • 1 (10 oz.) can chicken soup (optional)
  • 1/2 c. sour cream (optional)

Directions

    Mix dry ingredients (first 4).

    Coat each rolled piece of chicken breast with dry mixture.

    Dip in beaten egg/milk mixture, then roll in crumbs.
