- 1 1/2 c. corn (fresh, canned or frozen)
- 1 1/2 c. milk
- 3 Tbsp. butter
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla or less
- 1 tsp. salt
- 3 eggs
- 1 Tbsp. sugar or less
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
Directions

1Warm to scalding first 3 ingredients; separate egg whites and beat stiff.

2Add vanilla and salt and set aside to add last.

3Beat egg yolks and add to warming milk/corn plus sugar and cornstarch, stirring frequently; fold in whipped whites.

4Bake 1 hour at 325° in 2-quart buttered casserole.
