- 1 c. flour
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 4 tsp. baking powder (1 Tbsp. + 1 tsp.)
- 1 egg
- 1 c. milk
- 1/4 c. vegetable oil
Directions

1Sift dry ingredients into bowl.

2Add egg, milk and oil.

3Stir with fork until smooth and dry ingredients are moistened.

4DO NOT OVERBEAT.

5Bake in greased 8 inch pan at 425 for 20-25 minutes. Serve with chili or other hot soup.

6Delicious sliced with butter and honey or jelly.
