- 4 c. water
- 2 c. white corn meal
- 1 stick butter
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 2 eggs
- 1 c. flour
- 1 c. evaporated milk
Directions

1Put water, corn meal and butter on stove to thicken.

2Thin sugar, salt, baking powder, eggs and flour with evaporated milk. Add all together.

3Bake at 450° for 10 minutes.

4Turn down to 400° for 40 minutes.
