  • 4 slices toasted bread
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 4 oz. diced celery
  • 3 eggs
  • 3 tsp. sugar
  • 3/4 tsp. salt
  • 6 chicken bouillon cubes
  • 3 tsp. sage
  • 1/4 tsp. black pepper
  • pinch of celery seed
  • chicken broth or margarine
