- 1/2 c. Nunn-Better corn meal
- 1/2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 c. boiling water
- 2/3 c. sweet milk
- 1 c. Nunn-Better flour
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 egg
Directions

1Put the corn meal, sugar and salt in a mixing bowl.

2Pour the boiling water over them.

3Let this stand until the corn meal swells, then add the cold sweet milk.

4When cool, stir in the flour and baking powder; mix well.

5Add well beaten egg.

6Bake on hot griddle until cooked through and well browned.
