  • 2 (16 1/2 oz.) cans yellow cream-style corn
  • 8 oz. shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 (4 oz.) can chopped green chiles, drained
  • 1/2 c. finely chopped onion
  • 1 c. milk
  • 2 large eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1 c. yellow cornmeal
  • 1 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda

Directions

    Combine first 6 ingredients in a large bowl.

    Combine cornmeal and remaining ingredients.

    Stir in corn mixture.

    Pour into a lightly greased 11 x 7 x 1 1/2-inch baking dish.

    Bake at 350° for 50 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Yields 8 servings.
