- 3 Tbsp. butter
- 1 1/2-inch cube salt pork
- 1 small onion, sliced
- 4 potatoes, cubed
- 2 c. water
- 2 c. cream-style corn
- 4 c. milk (you can use half and half)
- 3 Tbsp. butter
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions

1Use deep pan; usually make day before.

2Cook 3 tablespoons butter and salt pork slowly until fat is melted (pork bits crisp and brown).

3Add onion.

4Cook slowly 5 minutes, stirring often. Add potatoes and water.

5Cook until tender.

6Add corn and milk. Heat 3 tablespoons butter, salt and pepper and add.

7You can use additional can of corn (whole kernel), drained.

8Makes 6 to 8 servings.
