- 2 tsp. margarine
- 1/2 c. diced onion
- 1/2 c. diced celery
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 c. skim milk
- 1 can cream-style corn
- pinch of salt
- pinch of powdered mustard
- pinch of pepper
Directions

1Heat margarine in large saucepan until melted; stir in onion and celery.

2Cover and cook until veggies are soft, then add flour and stir for about 1 minute longer.

3Continuing to stir, add milk gradually; bring to a boil.

4Reduce heat and cook, stirring continuously, until mixture is smooth and thick.

5Add remaining ingredients; keep stirring and cooking until all ingredients are combined and mixture is hot.

6Makes about 3 servings, 1 cup each. Takes about 1/2 hour to prepare.
