- 1 12 cups all-purpose flour
- 12 cup cornmeal
- 12 teaspoon baking powder
- 13 cup butter or 13 cup margarine
- 12 cup cold water
Directions

1Sift flour, cornmeal, and baking powder into a bowl.

2Cut in margarine.

3With a fork, gradually stir in cold water adding only enough to bind the crumbly mixture together.

4Turn dough onto a floured board and knead briefly.

5Roll out into a rectangle measuring 12x15 inches.

6Place dough on ungreased baking sheet.

7Turn up edges and flute.

8Prick crust with tines of fork.

9Bake at 425 degrees for 12 minutes.

10Add topping and return to oven to melt cheese.
