- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. cornmeal
- 2/3 c. cold water
- 8 hot dogs
Directions

1Combine the dry ingredients.

2Add water and beat with rotary eggbeater for 2 minutes.

3Pat dry excess moisture from hot dogs. Dip hot dogs in batter, holding hot dog with a fork.

4Drain off excess batter over the bowl.

5Fry in hot, deep fat (375°) for 2 to 3 minutes.
