  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 2/3 c. corn meal
  • 3/4 c. milk
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 Tbsp. melted butter
  • 1 egg

Directions

    Boil wieners as you would for hot dogs.

    Wipe dry.
  3. 3
    Insert stick in wieners if you have them.
  4. 4
    If not, serve on plate and eat with forks.

    Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, corn meal, butter, milk and eggs together.

    Coat wieners with batter.

    Fry in deep fat, heated to 365° until golden brown.

    Drain on paper towel.

    Good served with mustard.
