- 1 1/3 c. flour
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 (17 oz.) can cream-style corn
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 1 c. corn oil
Directions

1Mix flour, baking powder and salt.

2Mix the egg and corn together.

3Add to flour mixture.

4Heat corn oil in large pan and drop batter by tablespoon into hot oil, one layer at a time.

5Fry 2 minutes on each side until golden brown.

6Drain on absorbent papers (16 fritters).

7Good served with honey mixed with butter or maple syrup.
