- 1/2 c. butter
- 1 c. all-purpose flour
- 4 eggs
- corn oil (for frying)
Directions

1Cook corn until soft in boiling salted water in a saucepan; drain thoroughly, reserving 1 cup liquid.

2Melt butter with corn liquid in a saucepan.

3Add flour and cook, stirring rapidly, until mixture is smooth and rolls away from the sides of the pan. Remove from heat.

4Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.

5Stir in cooked corn.
